Crowdlending is a method of direct online lending to businesses by individuals and institutional investors.

The government supports crowdlending. On July 24, 2019, the bill "On attracting investments using investment platforms" was adopted by the State Duma, approved by the Federation Council, signed by the President on August 2 and entered into force on January 1, 2020. The Central Bank has created a register of investment platform operators. JetLend was included in the register on December 21, 2020.
